As a former Registered General Nurse and District Nursing Sister, with 15 years of professional experience including women’s health, family planning, palliative care and care of the elderly in hospital and community settings, I have always been involved in the caring professions, taking a holistic view of wellbeing. I have been a client of holistic therapy myself for over 20 years. Initially I enjoyed the treatments, finding them relaxing but soon realised that by incorporating treatments such as regular reflexology into my busy lifestyle I experienced an enhanced sense of wellbeing and the chance to rebalance and self-heal. It seemed natural to progress to becoming a therapist myself and so I undertook professional training in Reflexology (including reflexology for maternity and supporting conception), Indian Head Massage and Holistic Facials under the expert guidance of an experienced Reflexology teacher, and founder of the Association of Indian Head Massage.
All of my experience, both as a nurse and a therapist, has shown me that mind, body and spirit are interconnected and each plays its role in our health and wellbeing. I integrate this insight into how I deliver your holistic treatments.
